I find the smooth glides better with charcoal and conte and produces better line quality) 6- 6b Generals stick charcoal or 6- black 4b conte crayon 1 piece 150 grit sand paper or sanding pad Large kneadable eraser Clickable eraser 2 large bull clips Drawing board large enough to fit your newsprint pad
