Matt Dickson

Matt Dickson runs the Loft Studio, situated within the New School for The Arts and Academics, where he teaches Life Drawing and Intermediate/Advanced Drawing both within the school and across the wider Phoenix region. He has earned a BFA in Fine Art from Laguna College of Art & Design, as well as studied at Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Arts. In addition, he has pursued private studies under the tutelage of portrait painter Adrian Gottlieb. His artistry is characterized by his fondness for classical techniques and the fine arts, which is reflected in both his own work and in his pedagogy. Matt is proficient in oil, charcoal, and the production of decorative carpentry. Matt is a well-regarded exhibiting artist, showcasing his works not only throughout the greater Phoenix area, but also on a national level.
